Immigration Meltdown
Michelle Marquez, a student at Lamar Middle School in Irving [Texas], was criticized for having a U.S. flag during an immigration protest at Kiest Park in Dallas. I had a very interesting experience at my high school I teach at with the immigration protests.
None of my students walked out...but one got arrested...and not for protesting...
